The proposed Health Sector Governance Program will be implemented nationally with the overarching goal to increase access, quality, and utilization of essential health services, with a focus on maternal, neonatal, and child health care, particularly in poverty areas. This will lead to improved health and nutrition in the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, particularly among the poor, women and children, and ethnic groups, in remote rural communities in all provinces.
